Staff are friendly and helpful, the location is excellent for many of the attractions and facilities in Sheffield. The room was comfortable and well equipped.
The building is old and in need of refurbishment in many areas (it's a "characterful" hotel rather than luxury) but if you go with that in mind then it serves its purpose as a comfortable place to stay in the city. Maintenance doesn't seem to be a priority. The staff do make the best of things but I suspect they have to deal with many issues.

A traditional hotel at walking distance from the city centre, which makes it very convenient for both business and leisure travel. Staff are very helpful and do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Rooms are a bit outdated but very comfortable.
Breakfast was somewhat disappointing with a lack of variety and options to choose from, although I arrived late in the breakfast shift so it could be that breakfast looks less bleak if you come early when breakfast opens.

the staff were helpful and friendly.
They charged £10 to park in car park, but only told me that after I had been there a while. The room was very tired - threadbare carpet and shredded curtains. Very overpriced.
