Physically only occupied the hotel for less than 12 hours so no major comments. Room was great. Clean and spacious. Hotel staff friendly and helpful.
Not happy with being told I had to pay an extra £20 if I wanted to check in a little earlier. The check in time of 15.00 hrs clashed with the start of a family event I was attending located 10 minutes walk away from the hotel. I literally only wanted to put my bag in the room no more than an hour earlier. Apparently the room was expected to be ready well in advance of the official check in time anyway. Another charge on top of a already costly room was a little disappointing under the circumstances.

Location
Mattress was old and far too soft for anyone with any slight back issues, shower was stuck on scalding hot so thermostat obviously not working, spa needs a full r fresh, sauna wasn't working and aromatherapy room was also not working fully oh and the TV was very old and not even HD, probably a good 15yrs old.
