Hôtel bien situé mais petit déjeuner décevant

Hôtel calme, au bord du fleuve et proche du centre ville. Chambre et salle de bain spatieuses. Upgrade car la chambre initialement réservée avait une odeur désagréable. Le changement de chambre s'est effectué immédiatement et sans aucun problème ni discussion

La salle de bain est tellement spatieuse qu'elle pourrait sans problème contenir des éléments ou meubles de rangement pour y déposer nos affaires mais aucune possibilité. Les plats chauds préparés et servis au petit déjeuner sont bons mais le buffet du petit déjeuner n'est absolument pas digne d'un 4 étoiles. Il était en permanence vide et il fallait attendre ou réclamer pour qu'il se remplisse. Certains éléments comme les viennoiseries n'étaient plus remplacés 45 minutes avant la clôture du petit déjeuner. Il y avait beaucoup de produits dignes d'un hôtel 2 étoiles comme du fromage sous-vide ou des petits pots de confiture bon marché, pas de pain, uniquement des toasts de qualité médiocre. La responsable du petit déjeuner est complètement débordée, souvent sans raison apparente, pas toujours sympathique (elle nous a demandé de patienter au bar!!) et de ce fait l'ambiance dans la salle est très électrique et stressante, ce n'est pas ce qu'on souhaite le matin au lever.

Too many carpets everywhere- the smell in the Windsor part where I was a little bit smelly. The hotel locations is great. The staff is super kind amd helpful- the room was clean but again too many old smelly carpets …

overall I had a very good stay. for sure the hotel needs some updating to do but it’s a good location

I love that the hotel was by the river. it’s not the center of town but is just a short 10-15 mins walk. morning and evening walks by the river was my favorite the employees were really nice

the property is a bit outdated. Carpets are worn out the radiator is my tiny bathroom didn’t work and it was cold. my room was very plain but sufficient for just one person

A very pleasant stay in a beautiful surrounding with the staff being attentive and helpful.

The location was excellent for attending Eden court and the general area was very nice with a god vibe. The full Scottish breakfast was beautiful with good ingredients not cheap rubbish. The dinner a chateaubriand steak was cooked to perfection and very enjoyable.

I would have liked to see the doors of the rooms in the hallways upgraded to a heavy oak style door as the plane white fire door’s definitely removed that upmarket feel to the hallways creating a sense of unease before opening the room doors but thankfully being greeted by a very nice room. The cutlery in the restaurant could do with an upgrade as it looked a bit tired.

Very good

The staff were excellent, warm and friendly. Room was very comfortable and the Piano Bar was a nice place to relax.

The only thing that detracted from an excellent stay was the noise the radiator/pipes made when heating came on in the morning.

amazing place to stay in Inverness

One of the best places to stay in Inverness. courteous staff, and their restaurant definitely serves the best food in the city.

room was very small and didn’t have a place to dry towels. bathroom didn’t have binders.

Lovely hotel on the river Ness

Great location, hotel is right on the river Ness, so you have a lovely walk from the city center. The room was nice and quiet, the bed was comfy. The staff was really friendly and the restaurant downstairs was very tasty.

Hotel is located in an old town house, so there's no elevator - be mindful of that. The room had heavy curtains, but there was still a bit of a draft when it was super windy outside. Other than that the hotel was very lovely.
