Great place for live music and dinner, the room was comfortable and clean, shower was amazing.
Didnt get to sleep until one off the bars or nightclub shut after 3am very noisy R&Bs bar should be respectful to turn down there music a little more so ppl can sleep yes I get its a nightclub but you dont have to have the front door open all night so ppl can hear the music when trying to sleep. WiFi didnt work and the tv didnt work in room 5

Wonderful location! Was a little worried that the street noise and music from pub downstairs would be a problem. Not at all! Loved being able to have dinner and listen to the live music. Or go down in the evening and listen to a set. There are a LOT of stairs to climb but the room was awesome. It was so nice to have a desk at the window with a view of the River Ness. I was able to get caught up on my travel sketch journal with natural light! The only issue was that we ran out of toilet paper our last morning, not a spare roll to be found, and no one around to ask for more. Other than that, I highly recommend as a place stay!
No extra toilet paper.

Location, location, location. Aside from the group of boisterous drunks that were in a heated argument just outside the hotel entrance upon our arrival and in the middle of the afternoon, the location was superb. Nice restaurants, pubs, shops, and historic sites abound are all very close.
This is NOT a hotel like I've ever stayed in before. We arrived around 3:15'ish as I recall and could not get into the hotel. We knocked, knocked. A passerby tried to assist but to no avail. Finally, someone came to the door, let us in and reviewed the information for accessing the hotel. The hotel had sent us an email with checking in details but that did not go exactly as planned. There was no breakfast included (I thought there was but apparently, I was wrong), we never saw any hotel staff again after that brief meeting on the Friday when we checked in. Our room was very spacious and surprisingly clean and on the third floor (I think they considered it the 2nd but it was 3 levels above ground level. Go figure). The hotel does not have any parking but suggests a paid parking garage that's about a 5-minute walk. There is a small spot in front of the hotel that can be used for unloading but you can't stay there. That evening, we did visit the Hootenanny pub and enjoyed some Scottish folkish music, and the performer was quite good.
