Clean smart room with walk in shower with non slip tiles. Short distance to bar with suitable seating and tables for dining. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Easy drive in and out car park with plenty of space. Very comfy mattress.
Unnecessary extras that I’m sure made the stay more expensive such as blue lights as well as white, extra tv in bathroom and other additional lights. £18.50 breakfast with no indication of what you get for that, whatever it is, it’s too much. I’m happy to pay a bit more for quality but this is a joke.

For the price I paid (£65) the accommodation though run-down and a bit tatty was entirely satisfactory for the money. Bed comfortable, room reasonably roomy, food available, shower and bath functioning. The breakfast was excellent.
Smoke alarm went off in the night, false alarm, sleep further disturbed by fire engine outside window with running engine and flashing lights for a further 30 mins. Occasional false alarms will happen but if other reviews show 'smoke alarm' then this is a definite downer. The evening meal food offered in a rather elegant dining room was standard pub high-fat diet fish and chips etc.
