I stayed in Room 10 (2nd floor, facing the street), and honestly, this is one of the best places I've ever stayed.
Every staff member was polite and attentive. The gentleman behind reception offered to help with my bag, in the morning I was greeted by a lovely lady (possibly Dutch or Scandinavian, apologies if I've guessed wrong, I just want everyone to get the credit they deserve!) who was incredibly helpful, and the gentleman who brought out the food was polite/accommodating as well :) The genuine warmth of the staff really added to the stay. And I can't speak for any of the other food they serve but the breakfast I ordered was lovely!!
The room itself was well thought out too, a mini-fridge with plenty of choice, a complimentary Nespresso machine, and apples were a nice touch. The AC was excellent, and soundproofing was impressive: I didn't hear anyone from the floor above (which I normally do in other hotels), and there was no noise at all from the pub downstairs. The street outside could be heard faintly, mainly the odd ambulance, but with earbuds in I didn't wake up during the night — and I say that as someone who's usually quite sensitive to noise.
The bed was really comfortable, and the toiletries were high quality and lovely. There's clearly strong attention to detail here, from the service to the little touches in the room, all designed to make sure guests have a great stay.

Lovely room, staff were polite and helpful. The landline in the room didn’t work to connect to reception, and four floors up that wasn’t ideal! The TV didn’t work on arrival but the staff came up to reboot it.

The lovely staff were very friendly and helpful.
The bed was comfortable and large.
This is more of a pub with rooms than a hotel.
In order to turn off the air con, I had to take the room card out of the key card energy switch and sit in the dark.
Holes in the carpet. Dirty windows. Low shower pressure.
There is no lift at this property.
