Everything at the Radisson Blu made for a relaxing stay.
I liked that I could check in immediately on arrival, around 1 pm.
And I appreciated that checkout was at 12 noon which meant there was no time pressure in the morning
1. As a non-local I arrived by S-Bahn, and could not see any signs where to find the hotel.
I roughly knew where the hotel had to be, and realised later, after asking several passers-by that I had to go up one level in that central lift to reach the hotel. There should be signposting at and outside the airport on how to find the hotel. - Unless I just failed to see the signposts?
2. Reaching the 3rd floor where my room was I found the carpeting was braking the wheels of my heavy suitcase, and it was more of a physical effort to move my suitcase. A smooth floor would have been much better for the comfort of guests with large, heavy suitcases on wheels.

Practically at the airport and very convenient for upcoming flights. Access to the city center is also very easy with the S and U line across the street. Sleep quality is excellent - nice and clean linen, comfortable bed and pillows. The staff was very helpful.
Rooms could be a little better cleaned. There were some problems with air conditioning (room 334), with TV (322). Breakfast is surprisingly poor for such a hotel. Restaurant is overpriced.

Accessibility to Hamburg Airport
With respect to the staff with the surge of guest arriving they have to make sure the room is well kept and complete upon guest arrival. We arrived at 7 pm without a duvet requested 2x for it with an hour interval, toiletries such as lotion as well were empty, breakfast for example egg was cold.
