The room was really comfortable, breakfast was great and the two evening meals I had were really good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location to visit the Ullswater area.

The hotel room was clean, spacious and nicely presented. The staff is very welcoming and pleasant. The breakfast and specially the tea and coffee are fab. The hotel is very close to Aira Force and Ullswater and is situated in an area with breathtaking views.

Location is really good, you're only few minutes away from great walks. Bed was also really comfortable. Breakfast was also good, especially the pancakes!
The room was really dated and in need of some maintenance. Also, we asked few towels to be changed mid-stay, followed the instructions given and housekeeping just put the towels over radiators to dry without giving fresh ones.
