The Mortal Man Inn is a very cute and cosy place, and it was just what we wanted for our stay in the countryside.
It has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and is the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it.

The serenity of the location. Friendly helpful staff and great food. We had the small portion option but still the same quality. Love the old creaky floorboards in the whole place. A beer garden with a view its to die for!

Parking - no dedicated parking for hotel guests
Room - I was put in a room the entrance to which doubled as an emergency exit. So I didn’t feel particularly comfortable that technically people could access my room without a key. The room was also boiling hot at night. Not sure why, as the heating didn’t appear to be on. Couldn’t open windows. Bathroom floor tiles were incredibly slippery…would not be ideal for older people.
Staff - not the friendliest hotel staff I’ve come across. Also, every time I needed to find someone at reception, nobody was around and I had to wait several minutes. Then when I finally found someone, they each told me they didn’t have authority to answer my query and would have to find the manager
