The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the location is convenient to both local attractions and public transportation. The breakfast is truly exceptional and served in a very charming space.
Rothay Garth is an older facility, like most inns in the Lake District. This is part of its charm, but it can make certain things challenging--for example, finding enough electrical outlets for two people to charge cell phones, use hair dryers, etc.

The property was clean tidy and central. Food was excellent and the staff were lovely and friendly, and always there to support.

Location
Old fashioned, dated and worn decor and furniture, no longer fit for purpose e.g no mirror with dressing table. Musty smell I assume due to very dated carpets
