We absolutely loved our two-night stay here. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the whole experience made us feel right at home. The property had such a cosy, warm and homely atmosphere, which made our stay in Ambleside even more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious, fresh and beautifully prepared each morning. We really appreciated the wonderful hospitality and truly felt like we were staying in a home away from home. We would happily stay here again!

Fantastic Location, rod was an absolute gent & nothing was too much trouble for him.
The location was bang on, just a short distance from good pubs and eating places.
A slight hill at the top of the road, however no reason to bring your climbing gear, didn’t present us with any problems.👍😎

Location was fab and your provided parking central location.
The room was very small no en-suite the shower was in the same room as the bed and the toilet did have a door to the side of the bedroom but this day and age not good enough
I did order poached eggs on toast but when I arrived down stairs in the morning I asked for brown bread he didn’t have brown bread so I cancelled my breakfast request and asked for a full English it arrived eventually but not a full English it had two slices of bacon one egg and a handful of beans absolutely disgraceful for what we paid not value for money the next morning we never even stayed for the breakfast
He has no choice of fruit yoghurts or anything else the other people in the breakfast room told me it’s been taken over by this guy in February Kate and Mark don’t run it anymore so all the good reviews on here are for the previous people who ran it this new guy is not capable I’m afraid
I will not be returning and it’s the worst B&B I’ve ever stayed in .
