The location was amazing! Close to Trinity College 'Book of Kells' and, a must see, Archaeological Museum. The entry to Fleet Street Hotel is so warmly austere with classic lounging chairs & couches surrounding a generous fireplace. The Irish Breakfast is amazing, and if not included in your booking, is worth €15
Room 107 was a very small non-user friendly room. Thank goodness for a shower mat I only later spied as I had a 'near miss' fall in the slippery tiles of the shower. The 'basic double bed' room was well over $450 & it's the worst in my travels. One night was enough!
It's the location of the Temple Bar district of Fleet Street that incurs the cost. Sadly, Fleet Street was odorous of overnight urination, sadly, a key area for the homeless to gather overnight as a community.
I was booked to spend another 3 nights at the hotel after my 2 weeks in Killarney, but I couldn't spend 3 nights in that 'shoe box', so I was lucky to be able to cancel 🙏

Good breakfast, great and helpful staff, discounted parking off site. Rooms and mattresses were comfortable.

Location. Clean
My toilet broke the first night and there was no other room to put us in or any discount. Manager was not helpful. Although he said he was sorry the toilet was not fixed until 12 hours ! after and still poor pressure. Apologies are not necessary , action is important.
After a 10 hour trip into town you want a working toilet. Not have to go 3 floors downstairs for a toilet either child.
