It was very well located, the staff was as friendly as possible and the room was super clean.
It was quite noisy as you could hear everything that was going on in the hallway, including doors closing, suitcases coming and going, people talking which made resting a little hard, but it’s to be expected in a hostel. However, something I’d take into consideration, at least requesting to not have a room right in the middle if possible.

The staff was amazing! We really enjoyed our stay and loved the central location. Most comfortable bed of our whole trip. Construction outside was noisy, but nothing the Hostal can do about that. We knew what we were getting into, staying so close to La Rambla.

I really liked the location and the vintage building. I stayed one night because I was heading back to Chicago but I book again next time I’m in the area.

Location is great. The facility is clean. The WiFi worked great. Most of the staff was nice. The overnite staff was horrendous.
Very loud at nite. No carpets so the wood floors make a lot of noise. You have to leave your key with the front desk which I also didn’t like. There’s was no kitchen. There was no coffee or tea offered in the morning. It seems like a new place rand is a money grab. It cost me 100 euros per night for a private room and you need to walk into the reception to get to the showers and bathrooms.
There are many better hostels to stay at in Barcelona that offer a lot of amenities and are quiet.
I didn’t sleep well at all because of the noise.
