Excellent location. Easy to walk to the centre of town - 5 minutes - and easy to walk to the Zermatt to Furi lift - 5 minutes. Hotel room was spacious and the whole hotel very well presented and clean. Friendly staff

The views, comfortable apartment, location and staff make the Alpenblick a must stay for a ski vacation

We stayed in 1 bedroom apartment with a view of Matterhorn. There was a pullout sofa and cot available for my two teenage sons to sleep. We bought groceries for two dinners to cook in kitchen. Breakfast was perfect and plentiful to prepare for a full ski day. It was a five minute walk to ski gondola. It was close to shopping and walking into town. Would highly recommend

The hot tub was really a jacuzzi tub- ltranslation difference. The shower was handheld not overhead and made iit truly difficult to shower.

Instructions for Welness would need to be improved upfront. Access to ski room in the late night not longer possible if you had a studio in the Annex across the street.

It is Zermatt so accommodation will always bit overpriced

room is spacious though facilities are bit old, heating works good. the reception lady who checked me in is nice but another male staff is bit cold and impatient. rate for this type hotel could be over-priced but guess travelling at ski peak season is not cheap anyway. there are basically loads and loads of hotel/accommodations spreading from train station but it's hard to believe there are very few options left in sep looking for a dec accommodation - heard same comment from another tourist i met at hotel. there is a new building across the street (in construction at the moment) which will eventually block the view of Matterhorn. the biggest problem is the distance to station - dont trust google map which tells you it's 12min walk. it's all uphill!!! think when you are pulling a luggage case!! take a taxi from train station costs around 15-20CHF.

Nice facilities and breakfast, affordable downtown hotel in Zermatt

Good location, room was perfect, breakfast very nice. Pet friendly.

Lots of stairs or an extra long walk around the block to access our room, which was difficult with the baby stroller!

A RESTAURANT WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD as sometimes in the evening one does not like to go to restaurants to eat.

Room was larger than what we imagine and we had a nice bathroom with bathtub. had windows but the view was nothing fantastic. despite that, walking out of the hotel, and just a short stretch away, we could get an ultra great view of the matterhorn. it was close proximity to the lifts up to the matterhorn as well. Breakfast was simple but would suffice

it was quite a distance from the main train station, walking with luggages was a very bad idea. will recommend to take the small taxis available at the train station. Room feels slightly aged. But still comfortable for sure.

The most amazing 4 days. The weather was only bad one day, and the photos I have are great.

The top floor appartment was absolutely perfect. The view from the living room was amazing. The kitchen had all the necessary pots and pans and cutlery. The bed for me was one of the best I have ever slept on at a hotel.

Really have to struggle to find any negatives. The hotel uses actual keys (not key cards) and key fob is big and heavy. I'd advise that you leave it with reception when you go out skiing.

The room was nice and clean. It came with everything I could ask for. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I could see the Matterhorn from the balcony.
