location, very nice staff, great food, Rose is a beautiful place, free of charge beach in front of the hotel
they charged me 300 euros for postponing my stay by one day

This is a proper hidden gem . We absolutely loved it. The hotel has been so sympathetically created within the fortress and the location is magical. It is kept beautifully clean and and has a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff were amazing and really made our trip. They helped us even before we left the uk as our airport transfer to Rose cancelled just before we got on the plane and they provided a driver who seamlessly met us at the airport. The receptionist then stayed up past her shift to come and meet us and walk us to the hotel. The waiting staff were great friendly, helpful and very professional. Food was fantastic especially the breakfast. Overall one of the best sty's i've had due to the location. the staff and how relaxed I feel. We didn't want to leave.
Not much at all our room was smallish but who wants to be in your room when the rest of the hotel is so lovely. I also think some a bottle of water in your room on arrival would be a good idea.
Next time I will stay in one of the waterfront rooms I think it would be worth the extra $

The location at the beginning of the Bay of Kotor, the renovation of a small fortress, a place rich in history, the terrace, the beach, the apartment room just in front of the sea
Lack of empathy at reception, ok at the restaurant however the table service is slow:
Access by car is difficult, especially when you follow Google Maps, which leads to a dangerous road. But the major drawback is that when we called the hotel, they didn't simply tell us to follow the signs for "la plage de Rose » Rose Beach and then you have to walk across the port for about 300 meters. We would have taken a small bag for two nights instead of lugging around with two large bags in 32°C heat. A welcome drink would have been very much appreciated, especially since there was no bottled water in the room.
