Felt completely indulged from the moment we stepped over the threshold of this gorgeous place. The hotel's own Onsen was better than most of the public ones in my opinion, the cold plunge pool was great as the hot pools are very, very hot. We also used the free massage chairs and foot massage machines in the hotel a lot as we were recovering from a lot of temple trekking.
The breakfast was like a banquet and the cold water in the room was very useful.
The short free bus transit into town was also really handy as although it isn't far, walking in the wooden shoes is an acquired skill!
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
I genuinely didn't want to leave.
It would be great if the hotel shuttle ran a little later to allow more time to explore the town and the onsens.

Almost everything and everyone .
Staff are just amazing, respectful and accommodating.
The food - beautiful . Thank you so much for letting me experience Japanese style breakfast and dinner.
I’m not used to their pillow.
