Guest House Iulia offers the best location with the best hospitality you’ll find in Rome.

The property was clean, cozy, warm, and charming in an exceptional location just a short walk from the Vatican Museum. Shopping, dining, transportation is also literally just minutes away. Lisa and Federica went above and beyond in every possible way to ensure my stay was pleasant and comfortable. They even helped me through an emergency proving to be two of the kindest people you will ever meet. If you are in Rome, you must stay at Guest House Iulia

Very good

Staff are very friendly. Location is perfect only 10 mins walk to Vatican museum. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. The room is in perfect size for family.

The room was spacious and clean all facilities were available and the hosts were too friendly ,l would definitely stay again worth the value of money also the location is great near to everything a walking distance and the metro 7 minutes walking .. l highly recommend it 👌

Federica and Lisa were lovely hosts! They made us feel like family and were ready to take care of any need we might have to make us comfortable. The location is excellent at such a good value. We were within 10 minutes walking distance from St. Peter's and no more than 15 minutes from other important sites. You do need to take an Uber or public transit to the Colosseum, but that part of town isn't quite as quaint (IMHO), so the trade-off is worth it! The street on which the guest house is located has high-end stores and to my husband and I, it seemed quite safe. There is a small grocery store, pharmacy, restaurant and gelato store all a few steps away. I loved being able to open our window and look out onto the street and take in all the activity. When the window is closed all of the noise is muffled and we slept very well! Photos are a view looking out onto the street from our room.

The elevator took some getting used to as it is quite ancient, but in the end, it added to the charm of the guest house! I really can't think of anything else that took away from our stay in Rome.

Very good

The location is fine and a nice neighborhood. The ladies-hosts were very nice and helpful.

The guest house is accommodating and clean, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a young couple.

We will come back one day. 3 days was just too short.

We loved everything. The location was great. Not in the middle of the tourist bustle but close enough to walk everywhere (even with our 4 year old daughter), amazing restaurants around the corner, the best Gelato in Rome and many shops to browse through. We also loved the charm of the building with an antique elevator in the centre of the staircase. Absolutely beautiful. We were especially grateful that they were able to accommodate our very early arrival.

Great service, comfy rooms, excellent location!!

A home away from home! Clean, comfortable rooms, good location close to the Vatican and within walking distance to other attractions in Rome. The warm welcome from Lisa & Federica, coupled with their great service made my stay more exceptional. I will certainly visit again and highly recommend this place to anybody visiting Rome! Fantastic.

Excellent room with all the necessary amenities in a great location. The staff were so friendly and kind, they were helpful with everything from trips to best places to eat. If we ever return to Rome, we will definitely stay here.

The property was very nice. I felt very safe there! the property was centrally located and perfect for the Rome portion of my trip. the area was full of retail stores for shopping. Metro was in walking distance of the Vatican. I enjoyed walking to St Peter’s and Trastevere. there were plenty of restaurants.

I found the property very convenient. it was clean and comfortable.

Fantastic stay in Rome near Vatican city.

Fantastic hosts, they helped us with leaving our luggage before and after the check in/out. Fresh water every day.

Internet connection was a bit slow in some moments but it wasn't a big of a deal since we were out most of the time. Breakfast is only a 2 Eur voucher for a coffee shop nearby.

Good value, Great location, No frills room... 3 nights stay.

The location (Prati/Vatican Area) is great if you want to be in the middle of everything, but It's noisy if you want quiet. It's on a main street. The building felt safe, the rooms are on the 5th floor & there's a (small) elevator so you don't have to walk up and down 5 flights of stairs. You will be given (3) room keys, Door to the building, Door to Apartment & Door to the room you're staying in. The woman that checked me in was very nice, She tried to get me checked in early (which I appreciated the effort), but was having a plumbing issue in the room & had to call a plumber. She did let me leave my bags while I waited for the room to be readied.

The bathroom was dirty, there is mold in the shower. Some of the furnishings are worn out & should be replaced. The bedding is basic, the mattress is very firm (most European non-hotel beds seam to be this way). The bathroom towels are thin, and you get 1 large bath towel & a couple of wash clothes per guest, per stay. The room in general is fine with very simple decor, but could use a deep cleaning. There aren't any English speaking TV channels provided, if that's important too you...
