Very handy for the shops and republic square.
Attentive staff with good command of English
Decent restaurant with good food. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold foods and a particularly nice home made yoghurt.
There’s a supermarket nearby if you want to get things for lunch etc
Room 704 708-711 and possibly 712 have a view over the street the others overlook a building site

The hotel's location is excellent, close to restaurants, cafes, and right in front of the Vernissage market. It is a well-appointed property with sober, tasteful decor inspired by Armenia's rug tradition. The beds are comfortable, and the bathroom is clean and functional. At times, the staff went out of their way to solve problems.
But communication between reception and breakfast didn't always align. One person says breakfast ends at 11 a.m.; someone else says it ends at 10:30 a.m. More importantly, this hotel should aim to eliminate smoking on the premises. A faint smell of smoke carries into the rooms, likely through the air conditioning vents.

historic building, great location just on Vermisage market, pampering & not too big hotel, lovely pool for refreshing after a long day of site seeing, rich breakfast buffet.

Location, room size
The hotel had no amenities. Their swimming pool was closed, and my room view was a construction site, A lot of polluted air came in the room when opening the balcony door.
