The hotel is on the coastal road almost opposite the Titchwell RSPB bird sanctuary, that’s a favourite sight for many visitors….
Set in a garden area, our ground floor room was spacious and clean. I noticed an umbrella provided - not that it was needed but thoughtful nonetheless. There was a useful sized fridge. Ample storage and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was fitted with antique styled fittings. We both used the shower which worked well with good water pressure and plentiful hot water. The towels were beautifully laundered and the British made toiletries were of excellent quality. Breakfast was served in the sunny conservatory with self service juice, pastries, yogurt etc…. The staff were bright and friendly and brought our pots of tea before taking our orders for our cooked breakfasts. We couldn’t fault either of them. They were well presented and cooked perfectly!
We did notice limescale in the kettle but everything else was spotless

The room we were given (better room) was excellent, lovely decor, very large and lively views no complaints at all.
The social/shared areas were not very clean. The conservatory where we had dinner was covered in cobwebs and the windows looked like they had not been cleaned for years, it was dirty in there. The service for both dinner and breakfast was poor, especially breakfast we waited nearly an hour for our meal and had to constantly keep asking for things as did others which was disappointing. We had re booked through booking dot com to go again in December, but the dining experience put us off and we have cancelled.

Nice food
Terrible service, when pointed out to management that we waited 45mins between courses, I was told that the staff needed their breaks. Simply Unacceptable.Dirty glasses that we had taken to the room were not removed tor two days, on day 3 we took them back ourselves. Very untidy garden and outside furniture covered in bird poo which was not cleaned up.
