Excellent stay at Dumfries Villa — 10/10.
The room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for a great stay. The host was absolutely excellent and went above and beyond to make sure I was well looked after. In particular, the breakfast was fantastic and I was extremely grateful for how well fed I was before setting off for the day!
I stayed here while cycling the SWC300, so having somewhere secure to store my bike was really important to me. There is a secure shed located at the garage where I could safely leave my bike overnight, which was a brilliant added bonus and gave me complete peace of mind.
The location in Dumfries was also ideal for my trip, and the whole stay felt very welcoming and relaxed. It’s clear that the host genuinely cares about making sure guests have a good experience.
Would definitely recommend Dumfries Villa, especially to anyone travelling by bike, and I’d happily stay again.

The bath / shower in the annexe hasnt got a handle to help getting in and out of the bath..

Friendly staff,breakfast was fantastic,comfortable beds, there were a few minor details which could be fixed but you get what you pay for and was more than happy with the place for the price.
The smell of the washing detergent on the bedding was very overpowering in the room, not good if you are allergic to these products.
