Everything is great! I booked the open bath, and it was very pleasant experience. I tried on-sen, and i really recommend it! The hotel has shuttle bus service, restaurant, the bikes rental is nearby.
Some renovations needed for a better experience, for example there was spots on the walls and the valve on the sink was loose. But that is not really bothers me. A little hard to navigate, because there is 2 steps, and they go to different places.

The view was phenomenal and the food was great. The hotel was next to a park, which is ideal for a stroll after dinner. The baths were clean and enjoyable. Great shuttle service.
You do see and feel the age of the hotel. Our room felt old. Even the bathroom had a bit of cobwebs. The chairs felt like something out of the 80s.

The location is fantastic, just across the street from a lovely park. Walkable to restaurants and the grocery. And the views of Mt. Fuji are excellent if you select a Mountain View room.
The public baths are full of surprises, don’t miss the roof top tub with a eye level view of Fujisan!
We didn’t have opportunity to dine for dinner but the breakfast was excellent.
Service was spectacular, staff was attentive and caring. They even took time to help us with our train schedule and booked an early shuttle to accommodate our schedule.
I don’t have any negative feedback from our stay!
