I booked this room for a friend and her young son and they couldn’t speak highly enough of their stay!
- we were so well looked after by the lovely host, including transfers between train station & accommodation, lift to the shop for sleeping nappies
-onsen was amazing
-room was large and clean
-Lawson convenience store was close by
-panoramic ropeway was a short walk away
-loved the traditional room, it was a great introduction to first timers in Japan
-restaurant onsite was convenient
-position on lake was really nice
-excellent pre-trip communication from host

This place is a whole experience by itself, the rooms, the common areas and the bath are well preserved. Love the staying in here.

The traditional room was fantastic! Spacious, clean, and comfortable. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. They drove us to and from the station as well.
The shower is shared and separate from the room, but it was very clean and there was no wait for us.
