The hotel was great, very friendly hosts, and great view on mount fuji from the room. Facilities were great and very clean. Our room had no bath, but the onsen was quiet and nice so that was no problem.

This was by far the best hotel we stayed in during our 1 month in Japan. I don't say this because it was super luxurious. I say it because of the family that owns and runs the place. From picking us up at the bus station to dropping us off at the end, everything about how they hosted was so kind and genuine. It is a traditional hotel- so shoes off when you first enter. We had a day of clouds and rain, so we stayed at the hotel, our host feeding us snacks and serving us tea throughout the day. The onsen is traditional, so you have women on one side, men on the other- but to be honest, I never ran into anyone. There seem to be just a few rooms, so if you are a bit shy, like my husband, then you can make it work. I highly recommend staying in the traditional Japanese room. It has the BEST view of Mt Fuji, and there is plenty of room for your things. The mats on the floor are thick and the comforter was perfect. I can't say enough what value we got for our money. I was happy to stay in a locally owned place, and not a chain hotell. 10 Stars!!

Everything was fantastic. The hotel, the room., the food, the onsen, the location, and seeing Mount Fuji from our bedroom window.
But most of all, the hospitality of the owner and the staff was exceptional.

Their provided Japanese style breakfast is awesome. They treat guest very friendly. Their hotel is extremely clean.
