Cosy and spacious cottage in a serene and peaceful location right by the sea.
The cottage had everything you needed for a couple of nights stay (or much longer!). It was even accessible via public transport and the Berwickshire coastal path was literally a few steps away.
The beds and the living room space were really comfortable and the availability of board games and DVDs was a bonus.
Finally - the hamper of food and drink upon arrival was a nice touch.
The cottage was not particularly cheap, even when booked last minute in the middle of winter. And despite a wood fire being advertised, no wood was provided, and we felt a little underhanded, given the price.
The other main gripe was that the staff (as the cottage is run by a large company) weren't hugely helpful or responsive with questions about the booking or the local area.
Unfortunately the local pub also seemed to have shutdown :-(.

water pressure terrible , felt a bit neglected ,
