Amazing location especially if you are doing Adam’s peak, views are stunning from balcony.
Lovely pool
Nice big room
Comfortable bed
Good air con
Friendly hosts
Yummy breakfast and best Sri Lankan curry I had on the trip!
Lovely to see monkeys on the balcony but door needs shutting as explained by hosts due to food disappearing LOL
Only thing was the shower didn’t have hot water (maybe luke warm) and you had to hold the shower head as no wall mounted clip.

Great location for starting the Adams peak hike and staff at the hotel let your rent torches/rain jackets. The restaurant had a good selection of foods too.
Very peaceful environment to relax in after your hike

Excellent hotel, wonderful family and staff, the location was serene and the scenary was spectacular. The room was perfect and very clean and the food was lovely for all meals. 10/10. So glad decided to stay right by the start of Adam's peak, so peaceful and wonderful stay. One of the best hotels we've been in in this price range in Sri Lanka. Felt clean and safe and well looked after

Nice multi storey hotel with swimming pool, great view of the mountain Sri Pada/Adam's Peak and its surroundings from the terrace, Budget rate for the hotel, very kind and soft spoken hosts (but they speak Tamil and Singhalese mostly), location great eventhough low season, there is information board about Adam's Peak climb at the lobby.
We had trouble communicating in English with both staff, luckily my driver was able to speak in Singhalese with them. Also the charge for water bottle and soda drink was double the price for the rest of Sri Lanka (but i noticed other shops around Adam's Peak/Sri Pada also charge exorbitant price, perhaps transporting goods to the area is challenging). My breakfast was supposed to be included in the booking price, however since i ordered something not in their menu (which they suggested, plus the language barrier) i was charged for my 'kiribath' but my partner had free breakfast. Hot shower a little low pressure, jacuzzi by the pool not working.

Staff were really lovely, great food and attentive. Ideal location for climbing Adams Peak, they'll leave you a snack if pre ordered which is a nice touch.
Buses drive past every 20 minutes through the night. They're SO loud. Beeping at the dogs in the road and each other. It's literally like sleeping on the side of the road. If the buses don't keep you awake the stray dogs having gang wars just might.
Lovely staff, but the hotel needs proper sound proofing, or wish they had told us to sleep on the other side of the hotel due to sound.

It's a short walk to the start of Adam's peak and the personal are really really friendly!!
The shower can be cold cold. They have a sort of heater with an in- and outlet for water. At the inlet is a valve and the more you close it, the less water goes through the heater, the warmer it comes out. Also the bed was really squeaky so I've thrown my matras on the ground and that slept pretty good. So with my changes to the room it was a very lovely stay.

It's a great place to stay that is near Adams Peak for hiking, they rent out torches and rain coats. Ruben was so welcoming and helpful, we would come back just because of him! Breakfast is really good and beer is cold 😉

Great location, you can walk to the entrance of Adam's Peak.
Delicious food. We could not get enough of their chocolate roti.
Rooms are as on the pictures and if you have a balcony you have a great view.
They really helped us prepare for the trip to the peak and gave us good tips as well as arranging a tuktuk to get to the city so they really went an extra mile for us.

Good location and overall it was adequate considering the cost, but definitely not as in the pictures. I think to be fair the town is not geared up for tourists, it's more of a pilgrimage site for locals. The room was really outdated and tiny with some strange bedding choices as in spandex style nylon top sheets and then wooly blankets. Staff were helpful enough and tried their best,I can't moan too much but in all it was at best adequate compared to other places I have used in Sri Lanka. Hot shower worked which was a major relief after the hike.
Dogs barking a lot, no internet in my room, and sporadic throughout, I ended up using my phone for that. Room was really out of date but everything just about worked. Some of the advertised services were not available, I requested foot massage after the hike and was looked at like I was mad and told nothing like that in the town. I did a bit of a double take as I was told this whilst looking at their hotel sign which offered that service! Anyway its been a tough couple of years for them here, and I managed to sleep when I needed to.

View from the room and restaurant is very nice, you can see the Adam's Peak and in the evening it is simply amazing with all the lights. I would recommend ordering the Sri Lankan curry's, I enjoyed these very much. Western food I was not so crazy about but you can ask the staff to fry the fries a bit more, or ask for changes. They are very willing to help and make your stay as pleasant as possible.
The Sri Lankan pizza. It was more a white wheat American deep fried pizza. If you are very hungry it is fine but it wasn't Sr Lankan in my opinion.

We enjoyed our night in Grand Adams Peak. The location is very good for climbing Adams Peak. The terrace and pool are very nice to chill after the climb.
The staff is very friendly and the food was also good!

We really loved the staff. She was really kind, she gave us a cup of tea when we arrived, offered us the dinner and told us all the information we needed to climb Adam’s Peak.
The breakfast was really complete and good. She offered us two options: Sri Lankan breakfast or Western breakfast.
The room had a balcony with Adam’s Peak views.
There were only two things that we dislike a little bit: there wasn’t hot water for shower, and the coffee at breakfast (because it was not dissolved on water and we are not accustomed to it).

Everything, everything was great! What lovely people, we felt so welcomed!!! Good room, stunning view. There is even a pool and a beautiful terrace outside from which you can enjoy the view to Adam's Peak.
Everything is arranged to accommodate people doing the climb. Sandwiches are available, check out is late enough to get down from the summit, have breakfast and some rest.
Dinner was great too!!!

Staff were super friendly and the food was delicious. The woman at reception was so helpful and gave us loads of tips for climbing Adam's Peak, including offering to make us a little breakfast to take with us for our sunrise hike. She was also helped in organising a tuk tuk to Hatton for us. Pool was really nice as well.
Duvet was a little weird, it's just a blanket so not sure how clean it was. Bathroom gets fairly wet after having a shower

Clean and comfortable. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in the area.
The property manager was extremely attentive, going above and beyond to help us.
