A beautiful family mansion now operating as a small hotel with stunning original decor and excellent service. All the staff were great and knowledgeable about the area. The views over Sintra were incomparable, both during the day and at night when you can see the whole town and Moorish castle aglow. Breakfast was fantastic, the grounds were generous, the pool quiet and well-equipped, and the peacocks were a nice extra flavour!
It was about a 15-minute walk from the centre which is totally fine, especially with all the tuk tuks about. The only reason the views are so good is because the hotel is set across the valley from the town, so it needs that space to be so special.

This is a gorgeous property. The service was outstanding, accommodations incredible, and every member of the staff went above and beyond!

The place itself is very nice, clean, and beautiful. The room was very nice. The Wine and cheese afternoon break was a nice touch.
The rooms were too noisy, and so were many of the other guests. The tub did not work properly.
