Good location for access to bus transport and easy to get into central Edinburgh. Good off street parking.

The staff were very super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. Location was great (bus stop to the city centre just outside the hotel).
The room, bathroom, furniture looked a little tired. No pubs/restaurants nearby but a corner shop and a Chinese takeaway saved some of the evenings.

James and Lorna were so sweet, and the breakfast was so cozy and lovely–-homemade with love. The staff was always willing to help with any questions and problems and offered friendly advice about which places to visit in the city.
Sometimes they forgot to leave the bathroom mat in the shared bathroom or the bedroom, so the floor got all wet after showering. Not a big problem though!

The breakfast selection was reasonable for the cost of our stay and was served nicely.
The location was very good for our requirements- the bus stop outside was excellent for transport to and from the city centre.
Car parking on site was a great benefit to us.
The hotel and bedroom was very warm.
Shower and shower room was quite small . Bed and/or mattress was uncomfortable.
