Pretty hotel. Nice grounds w beautiful flowers, a pond, and vines. Nice hot water. In BORNEO, I’ve stayed at approximately six hotels. This has the best Chef/cook.
The room smelled, one of the faucets on the left sink did not work and was leaking. The sink plug got stuck and I couldn’t undo it. Poor markings to the hotel room and got lost in the dark. After heavy rain, I kept on walking around looking for my room. There need to be lights at each room and a map of the grounds given.

Good location
Nice setting
The food was poor generally.The evening meals were of very poor standard particularly considering cost.
The breakfast choices were limited poor quality and small portions eg fruit platter
The seating area around the property lacked privacy and shade and areas upstairs were nice and quiet but there was no fan or ac.
The staff were not overly helpful
The room did not have enough towels for 2 people and the bin had not been emptied from
The person before.
