Excellent greeting on arrival set the tone of the stay. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The room was big and had an excellent shower in the en suite. The hotel served food and the pizza was delicious.
Car parking is just outside and visible from my front facing bedroom. Continental breakfast was more than adequate.

Good location for our next destination. Dinning room and bar area was nicely decorated and spacious. Staff were friendly. Bedroom was big and had lovely views from the room. Breakfast was good.
bathroom could do with a refresh. Shower had mould and leaked.

This is a lovely little community-owned hotel, with a long and coulourful history. The bar is delightfully authentic, serving a decent pint and good wholesome food - both very reasonably priced. It's not a posh place and the rooms are basic but you know that from the website and reviews. Very friendly staff and locals. Brilliant place to stay for a couple weary motorcyclists.
The mattress could have been more comfortable, but it was fine. A cooked breakfast would have been welcome but we knew it wasn't on offer before we booked. No complaints at all.

The breakfast was a nice touch foc so thankyou! Staff were friendly too
The towels were very obviously either put away damp or had been stored for years as the smell when we dried ourselves stayed for most of the next day, damp and musty
The bathroom was in extremely bad shape and the shower was a trickle
