Amazing ! beautiful and relaxing stay

Comfortable bed, amazing breakfast, great house , lovely design , nice dinner , right vibe and atmosphere , extremely helpful and friendly staff

You can hear the highway unfortunately, even in a full nature setting. Our room was a little small and bed was not made for us the second night whilst we expected it

A place where you will want to come back!

Everything was perfect, the location is surrounded by nature, the house is impressive, perfect cleanliness, natural food and Carles and his colleague made us feel at home. We will definitely come back and recommend!

Paradise Exists

My stay at Paratgea - Can Canal - could not have been more perfect. I came to disconnect for a weekend, and I left feeling like I had been there for a month! I had the privilege of enjoying the entire house to myself on the first night, and my stay was made even more special as I met the owners and even the architect who designed the property 40 years ago. As an architect myself, it is one of the reasons I chose this property - the design of the house is simply stunning. It is simple, beautiful, elegant and every detail has been thoughtfully considered. First as a family home and later as a rural hotel, you can feel the love which this house has been restored with over the years - it has such a wonderful energy. I travelled with my dog and we were both so kindly welcomed by Anna. She made sure that we had everything we needed, she provided the most delicious food at both breakfast and dinner time - everything ecological and locally produced. She even made me a special meal one evening to cater specifically around a food allergy I have! Anna truly looked after us like members of her own family and is one of the main reasons I will return again and again. The final mention must go to the location - even though the property is in close proximity to the train line and motorway, you feel like you are a million miles from civilisation. I spent each day hiking through the forests surrounding the house to several local landmarks - the scenery is stunning with views to Montseny mountain. In short, this accommodation, the food, and the whole team at Paratgea deserve the maximum rating possible. We will be back soon!

Lovely!

Such a lovely place. Dinner was very good and recommendable. Room was great and very spacious. Staff (and especially Anna) go above and beyond and really understand hospitality very well.

Quaint place out side of the CT

The place is beautiful and quiet. A lot of space to chill out. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We came on August and there is no AC in the room so it was a bit hot but it is something that was written so it was not a surprise. Also there is no minibar in the room and I believe it's important.

We stayed over night on a drove from Barcelona back to France. Due to the delayed ferry we arrived at the property well past 11pm instead of 8pm. However, the owner waited up for us and had offered to make a light dinner which we eat on the terrasse with a bottle of wine, He made us very welcome which was extremely appreciated after a bad journey. The family which we had was spacious and lovely decorated, We traveled with dogs which was okay as there is plenty of space outside to walk. Breakfast again was served on the terrasse by a lady who was extremely friendly and charming, It made our trip home a success, thank you very much.

amazing staff, property and location , what a great find, we will be back

wow this place was amazing we stayed for the F1 weekend, it was close to the circuit beautiful old house, a little bit of motorway noise from the valley below, but this doesnt cuase any real problems anna looked after us exceptionally well we had dinner on the first night and this was perfect breakfast was great with a good choice

Beautiful, but limited

Location was Beautiful, although a little difficult to find. the place was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast had very little choice, but that could have been because it was out of season and not busy. The waitress took our drinks away before we finished and didn't give us chance to object

The house was amazing, outside space was cool. Lovely evening meal and organic wines too.

The house itself was gorgeous, very old but with new fittings, really comfortable bed and a good shower. There was lots of information about the area in the comfortable sitting area downstairs where we had a drink. Our host was very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful, fresh fruit, lovely bread and jams, pastries, coffee, hot milk, yoghurts. The evening meal was lovely, aubergine ragu and organic wine and cheese, just perfect. Outside was exceptional for the evening, a sofa with twinkly lights in the courtyard. It made a fabulous start to the holiday just half an hour from Barcelona airport, we'd definitely return.

A really peaceful and beautiful stay with one of the coziest hotel rooms I’ve ever slept in!

The hotel is really welcoming and cozy and there’s a calming feel throughout the place. The staff was very helpful with local tips and was attentive to every need.

I think there could have been more dinner and breakfast options, however it was still delicious!

Perfect for a weekend getaway from the city rush

The loveliest place I have ever been! Hotel itself is small but really cute, perfect for the weekend getaway from the city. Surrounding area is amazing too. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and it felt more like staying at grandma's house where everything is taken care of and lots of delicious food! Very very recommend!

Beautiful relaxing spot in nature

There was so much space - both inside the beautiful house and around the gardens. Even with all guest rooms being full, with the comfortable living room, dining area and so many lovely spots to relax outside, it felt very peaceful. The little pool was lovely in the hot weather and we loved having all the animals around - lovely dogs, cats and donkeys. We stayed with our dog and he didn’t lie down once - really enjoying roaming round the gardens and the lovely woodland walk directly off the property. We also chose to add the evening meal, which was brilliant. As was the breakfast buffet. Finally, a HUGE thank you to Cata and the staff for making us feel so welcome.
