This place is really cool. There are many places to eat, shopping and view to take photos. The Ocata beach is a beauty beach. To go at Barcelona downtown you can take the train (Rodalies) that is near to this hotel (30 min.).

The room was small, but it was fine for just my boyfriend and I. The bed was two twin beds pushed together, not the most comfortable, but not a big deal at all. There’s a few bars nearby. The beach is a super short walk away. The metro is also super close by. About 20-25 minutes to the city. However, it’s good to note that the metro stops running at midnight during the week. Taxi’s are super expensive coming back from the city to the hotel. If you’re looking to explore the city without limitations, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. We saved on hotel costs, but spent SOOOO much more on transportation. You get what you pay for. Don’t expect anything extravagant for the price. The room is clean and neat. The comforter in the closet didn’t look so clean, but I honestly don’t think many hotels wash those at all so I didn’t find this abnormal. Staff was nice. We didn’t communicate too much because of our language barrier, but we communicated enough to know they were kind. Sometime at night, they lock down the entrance. There is no longer someone at the entrance. You have to go through the restaurant entrance and ring the bell in order to be let in. I believe the owners live there. This was just a bit uncomfortable, only because we did stay out late and felt bad every time we rang in.
Side note: There are no irons to iron your clothes. This was tough for someone like me, who hates wrinkled clothing. Make sure you pack lotion too. Only small bars of soap available.
