The pool with thermal water and the lovely dinner were the two highlights. For dinner, one could choose from 3 options for each course of the three-course dinner. The menu changed every evening. Several of the dishes tasted home made (and not restaurant-like), although I cannot judge what was typical Bulgarian food, we really enjoyed it. Staff was very kind and helpful. It's a small place and one quickly gets to know all staff and most guests.
We didn't really have a common language (apart from some English) with staff which was really a pity, as we would have loved to chat with them (about Bulgaria, food, habits, our trips in the surroundings, etc). They seemed to be very nice people.

It is a small Family hotel, the stuff was super friendly, very clean rooms. the pool was excellent. The food was lovely.
Nice quiet place perfect for families
There was no soap in the toilet at the first flour of the rook. It is not very convenient to come up to the second flour for hand wash.
Smoking aria was very close to the pool so sometimes there was some smell at the pool. Not too strong but it coule be better to put the smoking aria in other place.

We had a great time at Koko Hills. The host was very welcoming. We were the only people there and the host was very hospitable ( leaving the pool open and even gave us a free bottle of wine!) The rooms were the lovely and clean. Would recommend for anyone wanting to visit the Seven Rila Lakes.

The swimming pool
There was a limited variety of food. In the rooms, there were some broken parts , as well as in the bathrooms. No bedsheets for the duvet .
