Excellent location close to the heart of Trastevere, but away from the crowds. Rooms were well maintained, nicely decorated and stocked with nice little touches like Aperol Spritz - of course, it’s Rome! The rooftop terrace is very pleasant.
The only minor thing is the multi-step process to access to your room becomes a bit tiring.

The location is in trastevere which is very good
This property is a guesthouse charging hotel-level prices, yet offering very little in terms of privacy or comfort.
All the bedrooms face the same shared balcony, making it almost impossible to have any privacy unless you keep the shutters closed at all times.
The rooms are also extremely close to one another, with very poor sound insulation. You can hear practically everything happening in the neighbouring rooms, even someone sneezing or flushing the toilet.
Noise is a constant problem throughout the nightmade even worse by guests checking in, arriving, and leaving at all hours of the night.
My room was also extremely dark. Even with all the lights switched on, it remained poorly lit and rather gloomy. On top of that, the bathroom extractor fan, which automatically turns on with the bathroom light, was excessively loud and disturbing.
Overall, the lack of privacy, poor soundproofing, constant noise, and inadequate lighting made the stay far from comfortable, especially considering the excessively high prices, which were completely unjustified given the quality of the accommodation.
