The town itself was quiet, not over-run by tourists. The Lady of the house and her lovely daughter were the most genuine down to earth people we met on our trip, they were warm and friendly and made us feel at home. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. Definitely would stay here again.

The spirit of this property was the highlight of our trip through the Highlands. An old hotel, in a very quiet mini village, with the feeling we were the only guests there, with windows to the local cemetery. Beds were comfortable and clean, plenty of hot water in the shower, what else we could want?
I liked the old, even mysterious aura of this place. The place is old and maybe in need of renovations but that would kill the atmosphere. I liked it all.

Was close to the lonach games Bellabeg
Very run down and in need of a complete make over! The down stairs entrance was very grubby. Carpets frayed and a trip hazard. The bar and restaurant was never open.
Apart from booking us in, the landlady was never available.
The rooms were very basic, the beds however had clean bedding, although I wish I hadn’t looked at the mattress.
The bathroom was like a horror movie! Filthy is an understatement. The sink had no running hot water. The heater in the bathroom didn’t work. The shower was hot to be fair, but no shower door so soaked the floor, and came through the lobby ceiling we later found out!
The hotel room radiator also didn’t work. Ran out of loo paper and had to buy our own to replenish.
