Steak pie was amazing, bed was comfortable, Breakfast was very good, Staff were nice. it is a old property and you need to take that into account.
shower was not great. lack of Wi-Fi could have been a issue but we had 4G so it was ok. Out of thier control.

Lovely location, with parking, very relaxing place to stay, attentive staff and a very short walk to go into the town centre.

Good location for sightseeing. Good meals available. Quiet.
No heating in room to start with - staff aware but had not taken action (though a portable heater was brought after a while). Bathroom plumbing maintenance was poor. The bar is furnished as a breakfast room so no comfortable chairs.

It was near where we needed to be. The staff were friendly and the meals excellent. The room and rest of the hotel was very clean.
The bedside light and heating weren’t working. The light on the dressing table had no bulb. Tried to find a member of staff to help other than the waitresses, but couldn’t after 7pm. The lift wasn’t working unless a member of staff was with you. The shower was poor.
