Location, helpful staff, the elevator, decent breakfast and the ambiance.
The room was a little small as the bathroom took up much of the space. Breakfast was okay. The hotel is closing for renovations soon so things are likely to be different when they reopen.

The location was great & it has a lift.
The A/C was broken in our room & they had ordered temporary A/C units 2 weeks prior. They didn’t tell us this when we checked in. Our first 3 nights were miserably hot & we had to leave the windows open to cool enough for sleep. We were woken up at 5am daily due to the sunlight coming in the windows & noise as well as no privacy. For our last 2 nights they were able to get us a temporary A/C unit which was wonderful. We do feel like we should have received some sort of compensation since we paid for a room with air conditioning & they knew about this pre-existing problem. We asked to receive compensation but were refused. They also were unable to move us to another room. The staff were very nice & did their best, we just would appreciate this being handled differently. We were just asking for what we paid for, nothing more or less.
