Nice little pub with a good atmosphere and pleasant staff. Food was excellent both at the bar and in the restaurant. Breakfast was quick to come out once we sat down and great local produce.
Highly recommend.
Not really a dislike more of a personal thing but the mattress and pillows were too hard for me. We slept ok but maybe some New pillows and a softer mattress would be better for me. Had a few aches in the morning. 🙄

Good location in Portpatrick. Clean, comfortable rooms with en suite facilities and coffee making facilities. Excellent breakfast and bar/restaurant meals are good too.

Location and staff. Breakfast was good.
King sized bed in a boxroom, doesn't work. Couldn't open the wardrobe to use it.
Restaurant, living on past glories, conservatory area dirty. Exterior dirty. The whole place just needs a good clean and that's no disrespect to the housekeeping team, who have an impossible task. Owner/ management need to take a good close look at everything. I appreciate, things may be tough in hospitality but the place is busy and some attention to the fabric of the building wouldn't go amiss. It let's the staff down.
