Very convientent for our stay in Bolgna. The room decor was a bit dated (busy wallpaper) but was clean and comfortable. There was free parking but you had to squeeze in along the street.
There was an excessive use of air freshener. I am not scent sensitive, but have friends that are and they would not have been able to stay at this place. There was not a full breakfast, but we bought what we needed from the osteria where we went for dinner.

The decor was pleasant and the private rooms were spacious. I had a free supply of drinking water from a shared fridge and coffee + biscuits in the morning which was lovely. There was a well working AC so I wasn’t cold or hot. It’s around a 20-25min walk to the city centre, which I took with no issue late at night when the buses were no longer running.
The sound isolation isn’t the best but it didn’t cause me any issues because everyone else staying was quiet. It’s one bus to city centre but two buses to the fair grounds (if that’s what you’re there for) which extended travel times quite a bit.

Efficient and comfy

Nice, beautiful building, quiet location, nice patio, 10 minutes walk from city centre.
What we booked:
*2 equal rooms, same category, 25m², garden view, same price, etc. Thus, we expect rooms highly similar in size, looks, and amenities).
What we got upon check-in:
*1 room of the expected category (22,41 m², beautiful room, bel-etage, garden view).
*1 room smaller (18,35m²), dark, sous-terrain, small bathroom, little basement smell, view of the stairs, and view of the patio only through the opened entrance door.
We were two couples travelling, and the managers basically made us have to choose who would get the smaller basement room, which shouldn't happen. Especially since we paid the same price for the rooms.
The first protest ended it the mangeresse's reproof that I got what I booked and that I should just compare with the pictures shown in my reservation (2 out of 37 pictures are of this second, lower category room; but apparently same category and price).
Only after our second protest, we were offered a room of the booked category, but only for 4 of the 5 booked nights; the last night, one couple of us had to move to the basement.
No real apologies received, and no price reduction offers. In the end, they thought they made a total exceptional favour and gave us the better room (which we actually have originally booked) for 4 nights. We had the feeling that WE were the ones who were wrong and that we should be thankful for this solution.
Conclusion:
At least one of the "double rooms with own bathroom", offered on booking.com, is very different to the others and should form an own, cheaper category. The advertising and pictures of the rooms are misleading.
The B&B Rivabella is a beautiful, green place away from the noise of the city, yet not far to reach by foot.
The room discrepancy would have definitely been avoidable with clear advertisement and understanding and recognition of the managers.
