Clean, beautifully decorated room. Very cosy & comfortable. Lovely modern on-suite bathroom facilities. Quiet area of Venice but not too far walking distance. Fan supplied for the summer months if you didn’t want to pay extra for air-con. Tea coffee making facilities & fridge were an added bonus
I did read upon booking the 6:30pm check-in cut off, which was absolutely fine with our flights, & understand the nice owners needs a work life balance. But we got held up at customs & missed our train. We had to run & just made it! Maybe a €20 extra fee every half hour after the deadline would help stop the fear of loosing your room for the night? Just a suggestion, so no one else has this stress like we did. Other than this all was fantastic with this stay.

The host was helpful and informative. We had plenty of room, it was quiet! The bathroom was updated and our room was beautiful. The walk from the train station to Ca Bea wasn’t bad, but we did use travel backpacks instead of rolling luggage (which I highly recommend you do in Venice) and that would have probably made a difference. We really enjoyed our stay and would probably stay here again!
The only issue was that it was hot inside our room, even with the window open and the mini split. We are from the United States though, so we understand we are used to air conditioning.
