5 Stars: Ask for Jonathon!
If you're staying at Wake Up Byron, do yourself a favor and hope Jonathon's on the front desk when you check in. This guy is an absolute legend. From the moment we walked in, he sorted us out with genuinely great advice on what to see and do around Byron Bay (not the generic tourist-trap stuff) but the good stuff that actually made our trip and affordable too!
He's a great host and I loved the vibe to the whole place, also super clean facility!! And all this at a genuinely affordable price too, which honestly feels like a bonus when traveling in Australia 🤣. Can't recommend Wake Up Byron enough, and Jonathon specifically deserves a raise (or at least a beer). Go say hi to him!!

It’s a hostel so expecting 5 star comfort for the price is ridiculous. For wanted I paid and wanted it was great.

No I wouldn't recommend if you have enough budget if not yeah ... This ... Hostel is an option
Did as everythings instructed in the instruction on the door and yet accuse of not returning the key. Do better and won't be my next time

Location was excellent - less than 10 mins to central station. Kitchen well equipped and easy to use, although the property would benefit from more fridge storage. Beds were comfortable. Room was adequately sized. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Whilst having a sink in our room was very convenient, the tap was not at all securely attached. Similarly to this, the bathroom which was allocated to our series of rooms had no shower head in it just a metal stub in the wall so the property only had 3 showers downstairs for the whole property, which were two floors away from our room across a courtyard. Our room also had some bugs in it.
