The location is wonderful. We stayed in two different rooms during our stay which wasn't great but there had been a mix up in the booking so we agreed to be moved. Both rooms had uncomfortable beds. The first was very hard but some people like this. The bed in room 5 was very noisy when moving about in it but had a good shower and nicer bathroom than room 4. Also we weren't told that building works were being carried out on the flat roof outside of the rooms and meant blinds/curtains needed to be kept close when getting ready as the workmen were directly outside the windows. We didn't spend much time in the rooms but it would have been good to be advised of this beforehand. The breakfast choice is exceptional with great choice but we didn't stay in the hotel for dinner as we were visiting family in the area. The hotel is full of character, the staff were all very nice, friendly and helpful and we would stay again if there are vacancies. I imagine this hotel is booked for most of the year.
