Location The building was a joy to stay in, and speaking to the owners got a insite of the work they had put in to this business and knowledge of local area brill stay. hope to stay again some time and a nice little bar to have a nite cap happy days.

Family Night Away

The hosts Joan and Nigel were very friendly and welcoming and prior to our stay communicated by email prior to arrival ensuring our stay was straight forward . The property was well maintained with plenty of parking and the rooms clean and spacious with everything you needed. Food was exceptional, the evening meal prepared by Nigel was outstanding followed by time in the lounge and plenty of choice from the well stocked bar for a couple of our group while the rest of us attended a family wedding nearby. Breakfast options suited all our groups dietry requirements, the breakfast cooked by Nigel was served piping hot by Joan, setting us all up for the day. Highly recommend Middle Flass Lodge for a stay and thankyou to a lovely couple who made it home from home for us all.

An absolute gem!

Outstanding hosts who go out of their way to make your stay perfect. Beautiful location with amazing views.

The only thing we didn't like was having to come home!

Would go back if I wanted to go walking.

Breakfast was tasty. Vegetarian option available. Hot water was hot, lovely! Signposting at road turn off about 1 mile away, very useful.

We had a lovely time. Great location. Breakfast was excellent. I had made a mistake on the booking that was resolved efficiently and with absolutely no fuss.

It was a pleasure to have stayed at Middle Class Lodge.

Breakfast was of a good quality and choice. The evening meals were of a high standard and a good range of choices to suit every requirement. The owners are very friendly and helpful who are keen on recycling, a plus point I've not seen elsewhere.

Idyllic location and perfect hosts.

Excellent was perfect. An excellent spread. Plenty to choose from, not just standard english breakfast. They cooked us an avening meal (on request) for our last night. Was made to feel special.

Exceptional

The staff were very welcoming and able to accommodate all our requests. Breakfasts were of a high standard with lots of choice on the menu. The location was excellent for our needs and a useful launching point for exploring the Ribble Valley and the Yorkshire Dales.

There really wasn't a negative about this accommodation. I would recommend it to anyone. Excellent service, sensibly priced.

A quirky and quiet place that would suit the elderly.

Breakfast was very good and cooked to order. Room was a good size and pleasantly decorated and furnished. Area around the lodge was beautiful and very secluded.

I was a little taken aback by lots of little notes stuck to things telling you what to do - it almost seemed like you were being told off, such as please take all recycling down to the containers at the end of the corridor, switch off the lights and so on.

Lovely location very friendly and comfortable I was very impressed that they still cooked meal on our eve stay .. despite difficulties with distance and traffic we encountered .

Just what we needed for our whistle stop stay. Would love to come for longer!

The breakfast was a true classic full English Breakfast. Really good bacon and sausages, carefully selected local produce. The bedroom was a good size and comfortable. Wonderful countryside location.

Difficult to think of anything. We did not like that we were not staying longer!

Good stay with a few caveats

Nice and cosy place with a very good breakfast and friendly owners. Big and clean rooms with clean bathrooms and nice extras (i.e. bottled water, biscuits, tea etc.). The room I stayed in had an extra single bed

Uncomfortable and narrow bed. I felt like sliding slowly towards the edge of the bed during the night. I woke up at least a few times because I was very close to falling out of bed. Not a great night sleep. Slightly musty smell when I entered the room. I know it's an old building and I appreciate that this comes with all kinds of smells but keeping the window open (especially before guests arrive) could improve the first impression. Despite being in a relatively remote area, there is a road just in front of the property and, during the night, you can hear the random car passing by.
