Lovely cosy pub, very warm and welcoming staff, evening meal was superb as was breakfast.
In my room there was a light by the entrance door that was controlled by a movement sensor, but it kept on turning on and off all night so after no sleep for several hours I had to pull it out from the ceiling and put a sock over it to stop it. I was very tired in the morning and reported to the staff. It was possibly the wind that was setting it off, but am sure a qualified electrician could change or remedy it in some way. Such a shame as the bed and room were lovely.

The room we were allocated was very tight on space , the bathroom shower controls were broken and there were signs of damp or water ingress in the bathroom by the toilet. We had no view from our room despite requesting a view of pendle hill when I booked
