Прекрасный отель, приехала бы в него еще не раз

За такие деньги отель был просто идеальным. Номер был очень просторным, и там было всё необходимое + в номере был большой шкаф для хранения вещей Вид на горы и просторная терасса тоже понравились Персонал был приветливым и шел на встречу, если мы что-то просили Прекрасная шумоизоляция

Convenient

It was quiet and very big. In the morning some monkeys came to visit our terrace.

Exceptional and very friendly customer service. Exceed expectations.

The manager and staff are very friendly and very helpful. They always take care of what guests need. They also provide facilities to make Kiri ahara for the Sri Dalada Maligawa which is a really good thing for the local guests. Appreciate the customer service. Rooms are large, super clean, and tidy with a neat arrangement. Bathrooms are also clean and fitted luxury fittings. Even though this is a 3-star hotel, it feels like more than that. Overall quite a good place for a family who is willing to visit Kandy and Sri Dalada Maligawa. Recommended safe, kid-friendly, and clean place.

Stay elsewhere in Kandy if you can

Location was near kandy lake and close to good eateries like No Name Restaurant and Vito pizza. Staff were kind to accede to our requests for amenities like clothes hangers and slippers.

Toilet was not clean when we checked in - there was a bar of soap with hair left behind on the shower rack. We informed the staff the next day to clean it , but it was still there when we came back after the day’s activities. Laundry service was not available despite signs in the room promoting the service. Lastly, upon check out, we were asked to pay the merchant fee imposed by the bank on the hotel, as we opted to pay by credit card. This is defo not standard practice (we didn’t experience this in the other Sri Lanka hotels we stayed in) since the bank will already charge an admin fee to the credit card holder (me). Take note if you intend to pay by card!

Nice location in Kandy and very kind staff

The staff was very welcoming, sympathic and helpful. Location perfect for one night, near the lake so it was very calm and all is accessible by foot.

The people running were super nice! They upgrade our bedroom for free. Beds are very comfy and room is very spacious. hot water is available at all time with a big shower

Overall we liked the property and enjoyed the stay. Especially the front officer Mr Jude was awesome and he was very helpful. If we come to Kandy again, the 1st choice will be Janora Hills.

If I am to tell any improvements is to improve facilities. Please check the room properly and place all amenities such as toothbrushes, toothpaste and slippers if possible. We also noted the Kettle was not washed and it had leftover water but didn't want to complain since Mr Jude was so nice to us.

We reached Kandy around 12 am and we didn't have any clue where to stay. Then we came across this property through booking.com. It's located very close to the center where you can walk to the place. It's a very safe and calm place with all the facilities. The rooms and bathrooms were well-cleaned. The owner and the staff were very supportive and friendly.

Homely and warm.

The owner was very kind to allow an early check-in. The room was extremely spacious and clean with a beautiful view. I loved the hospitality of the owner that made sure everything was well taken care of with good local tips and suggestions. It is a very short walk from Kandy Lake that makes it easy to go around. I would definitely come back again!

The perfect hotel for a stay in kandy. next to kandy lake (but no noise from the street) just a short walk from the city center and a lot of the main attractions. the rooms are very nice and clean and the beds are really comfortable! the staff was very friendly and the food superb!! 🤤 i highly recommend the breakfast. we would definitely stay there again! thank you ☺️ 🙏🏼

Clean and comfortable

This place was the cleanest one so far, outstanding bathroom well equipped. Furniture in the room also exceeds any expecttions. They provided dinner at a normal price which was outstanding.

There was no hot water in the room. Also wifi was crappy. The place with loud music next door was alao not ideal.

Hotel was clean quiet and comfortable. Good spot on the edge of the lake just outside the busy center. Couldn’t ask for anything more for one night in Kandy. thanks to the staff for a nice stay and the breakfast we had was good. I got something a little different because of my allergies and it tasted great! We really appreciated it.

Great top floor bedrooms filled with natural light and great views. The family running this hotel is great and ready to help you with whatever needs you have. Definitely the place to stay in Kandy from where you can walk to anywhere in town

Lovely stay and amazing staff

A well located value for money hotel close to the main attractions in Kandy.

Janora Hills is located close to Kandy Lake and within walking distance of the main attractions in Kandy. The accommodation occupies the upper floors of a building that is used to provide different accommodation on the lower floors. The room was large and well appointed for accommodation at this price. The staff were very helpful and provided a good breakfast on the upper balcony with great views. Also loaned us an umbrella when there was a sudden thunderstorm and arranged onward transport.

The multiple use of the building but this was a minor inconvenience

New and comfortable hotel next to the Kandy city center.

Very nice new hotel very close to the Kandy lake and to the city center. From the Kandy station it is possible to reach the hotel with a 20/25 minutes walk or with a short ride in a tuk tuk. The rooms are quite big and provides all the necessary amenities. Bonus point for the shower with very nice pressure and very hot water (this was an exception considering the other hotel where we stayed during our trip in Sri Lanka). The staff of the hotel has been very available to help us during our stay and to organise the next stage of our trip.

We had one breakfast in the hotel and it was just average, not bad but we would not recommend it.

An amazing stay with beautiful views and lovely people.

Really great location a short walk from the main town and amazing views. The owners and everyone who works at Janora Hills are so friendly and go out of their way to help with everything. We had the Thai dinner cooked by the owner and it was AMAZING. Best Thai we’ve ever had. The room was big and comfortable and had everything you would need. thank you Janora Hills for such a great stay.

There were quite a few bugs in the room but I’m not sure if this could be helped given the location.
