I loved this place - it is a beautiful property conveniently located. Great staff. I enjoyed my breakfast and had dinners here as well.
It is a historic property and I had some old hardware on the door that didn’t work well but wasn’t a problem. More annoying was the mosquito nets that were only decorative and not functional. Nonetheless on a six week trip in the region this was easily my favorite stay.

We love their exquisite vintage decorations. And, Enjoyed having breakfast in the garden of this historic mansion.
The outdoor furniture is worn out and needs repair.

Stunning property! The view of the Sacred Tooth temple and lake framed by the lush trees is to die for. The colonial property is tucked into the landscape and has old world charm. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and there are antiques all over. Service is exceptional. Roshan, the manager, went out of his way to make us comfortable. The caretaker Sisila is an exceptional host and is a magician when it comes to making things happen. Dilshan and Kasu are quiet behind the scenes and very diligent. We felt so much at home… It’s a place you don’t want to leave - we can’t wait to come back!

We had a very nice room seperate from the main house! The breakfast was great and the coziness of the hotel is very nice too. It is also very close to the center of town but still in a very nice quiet area.
The rooms in the main house were big, one was even too big, but some furniture in the main house could use an upgrade
