Staff at this hotel were lovely, smiling, and helpful. Our room located on the 5th floor was quiet, and rooms were serviced daily. There was plenty of storage space. There was a variety of hot and cold options on offer at breakfast. Breakfast bowls were huge, and their granola delicious. The location was an easy 10 minute walk from Sagrada Familia, and the Sagrada Familia Metro Station. There were lots of restaurants and small supermarkets in the area. We used the Metro to get around as the Hop On Hop Off Buses we saw had queues of people waiting (Sunday 19 November). Getting to and from the airport wasn't difficult either as we travelled light. From the airport, catch the orange line (L9 South), change at Collblanc station onto the blue line (L5, towards Vall d'Hebron) and get off at Sagrada Familia Metro Station. It costs just over 5 Euros per person. We used the Hola Barcelona Travel Card which made travel stress free. We purchased on-line before we left, and it was easy to pick up from ticket machine at airport metro station (English language button on machine).
The keycard to Room 504 was temperamental. The door never opened on the first try. Sometimes it took up to 10 tries before it opened. We had to go down to reception at least twice because the door wouldn't open. A staff member came with us, and helped us open the door. It seemed acceptable that many tries were required. We have stayed at lots of hotels over the years, and never had problems using key cards before. Staff were always kind, but not being able to open the door to your room after a long day out exploring this wonderful city, was tiring, and quite frankly, annoying. This was the only reason we did not give this hotel more stars. There was only one chair for sitting in the room. A chair for each guest would have been better.

The best thing about the hotel was the location. We were able to walk to many of the sites wanted to see, like Sagrada Família. We felt safe there, and took advantage of the included breakfast. It was clean, and had an elevator.
This hotel has all of the basics that we wanted but no safe or coffee maker in the room. No facial tissue.

Staff very nice and kind. The position is amazing for staying in the city center of Barcelona.
Room not so large for 3 people. Level of cleaning is under the expected conditions. Breakfast should be improved.
