Room was comfortable with balcony but not with a nice view.

The location was perfect. Very near to the Metro, to Paseig de Gracia and La Sagrada. The room we were eventually given was very good, clean, roomy and well maintained. I must compliment Manager ALBERT RAMIREZ. This would have been a very bad review had it not been for Mr Ramirez. The initial room we were given was NOT what we booed and paid for with little understanding and empathy from the clerk at the front desk. We stuck it out the first night. The next day Mr Ramirez intervened, was very attentive and listened well. He apologized and moved us to another room. To our surprise it was a suite on the top floor with a balcony and terrace. Thanks to Mr Ramirez, he salvaged our visit to Barcelona and made this stay at Catalonia Gracia a memorable one. MR ALBERT RAMIREZ is a manager who understands customer service and is very empathetic!

It’s a good size for a room for a short stay.
The curtains weren’t very good, and the bed isn’t very comfortable.
