Das Beste war tatsächlich das Frühstück, einfach aber ok.
Lage des Hotels zwar recht zentral, aber direkt an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße gelegen.
Wir hatten für 3 Übernachtungen eine Junior-Suite, die sehr geräumig war, allerdings mit Fenstern direkt zur Hauptstraße hin. Straßenlärm war Tag und Nacht zu hören. Für eine Zimmerkategorie dieser Art unmöglich. Sollte bei Buchung bedacht werden.
Am Ende der Reise waren wir nochmal für eine Nacht in diesem Hotel und hatten nur ein DZ gebucht. Die sind sehr klein, teilweise ohne Fenster und je nach Lage hört man im Zimmer die Geräusche der Klimageräte, die auf dem Dach des Hotels angebracht sind. Auch hier ein ständiger Geräuschpegel. Wir haben uns beschwert und daraufhin ein ruhigeres Zimmer bekommen, allerdings sehr klein. In beiden DZ gab es keine Tür zwischen Bad und Schlafraum. Das Personal an der Rezeption war entweder arrogant, nicht kooperativ oder schlichtweg überfordert. Ebenfalls kaum Englischkenntnisse. Für uns kein Problem, da wir Spanisch sprechen, aber wir haben andere Hotelgäste beobachtet, die nicht Spanisch sprachen, die hat man einfach stehen lassen. Wir haben dann geholfen und übersetzt. Das kann in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie nicht sein. Booking.com sollte sich überlegen, das Hotel ganz aus seinem Programm zu nehmen. Wir haben bis heute (wir waren dort Anfang März 2024) noch ein Problem wegen der Bezahlung mit dem Hotel und booking.com und warten auf eine Lösung seitens booking.com.

Habitación muy cómoda, baño completo, aire acondicionado funcionante.
Buen desayuno, con pequeños cambias día a día lo que permitía no aburrirse. Con un Juan Valdez en la recepción se podía complementar con un buen café lo que lo hacía perfecto.
Piscina algo chica pero muy aprovechable.
Buenas vistas desde la azotea a la fortaleza y la muralla.
Si bien la piscina era disfrutable, estaría bueno que cerrara más tarde. Sería provechoso tener un horario más amplio para disfrutarla a la vuelta de las actividades en Cartagena.

We paid for having a Junior Suite, instead we had a room with 2 queen size bed, 2 bathroom and no living room. That was a room for a family of 4 definetely not a suite by any meaning. At the reception they couldn't tell us how that room is qualifying as a junior suite but they were insisting that the room was a junior suite. The booking description of the room and the photos don't match AT ALL for what we got.

Me encantó la ubicación, el hotel es muy lindo porque mantiene lo colonial, nuestra habitación tenía vista al castillo San José caminando fue muy cerca, y hacia la torre del reloj también muy cerca, las piezas y baños impecables, solo mejoraría la luz de las habitaciones, desayuno rico y la gente muy atenta
La luz de las habitaciones, son tan lindas pero les falta mejorar la luz son muy lúgubres, y siento que pierden en eso, la tele de una de las piezas no funcionaba ni conectarlas al wifi

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage, um zu Fuß Cartagena zu erkunden. Das Personal stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück wird serviert. Variiert täglich mit der Beilage.
Leider kein Fenster im Bad, aber das ist nicht schlimm.

La localización, el desayuno y el personal
De luxury hotel no tiene nada. La habitación parece un zulo. Tiene un baño pequeño, no hay decoración y la ventana da a un patio por donde pasa gente y hay que tener las cortinas cerradas. La piscina es un poco más grande que un jacuzzi y sucia. No hay ducha. Hay unos sillones pero sin sombra.

Lo único que me gustó, fue la ubicación, el desayuno, y lo amable que fue la mujer que atendía el desayuno.
No me gustó la poca amabilidad y atención del personal, la gente de Colombia es demasiado amable y en este hotel no lo son. La habitación doble que contratamos era pequeñísima, sin espacio donde dejar nada, con un baño demasiado pequeño, sin toalla de mano ninguna de los 4 días, solo de ducha, y olía toda la habitación muchísimo a humedad, porque había mucha humedad en el interior.

C'était ma 3e fois à Cartagène. Nous ne pouvions retourner à notre hôtel habituel. Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour sa taille, son service, son emplacement et la piscine. Bien que différent de notre hôtel habituel, j'ai beaucoup aimé cet endroit. Le service est courtois, le site est propre et bien tenu. Ils ont même un service de transport. J'y retournerais avec plaisir.
Le petit-déjeuner est bon, mais les choix sont limités. L'aire commune près de la piscine est jolie et très accueillante. Il manque un peu d'ombre. Sinon, je n'ai rien à dire.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of Getsemani, my room was nice and big and very clean. The place was lovely decorated and the breakfast was great. Beautiful rooftop pool to relax.
If your room is facing the road it can get quite loud during the evening with party buses

The bathroom door doesn’t open fully because the sink countertop is too wide, so you can’t stand straight in front of the sink.
Our room didn’t have a ceiling fan, but the room next to ours did.
They start moving chairs and tables early in the morning for breakfast and it’s loud.

El lugar es lindo y cómodo. La suite era bastante grande el único defecto es que se encontraba en el primer piso y las ventanas daban hacia la calle así que era imposible subir las cortinas. El desayuno bastante completo y rápido. La piscina es chiquita y un poco fría pero no había nadie así que pudimos disfrutarla.
Lo único malo es que a pesar que fuéramos 6 de 7 extranjeros no quisieron facturar a cada uno diciendo que tenían que facturar todo a la persona que había reservado así que le tocó pagar a todos el iva cosa que no les correspondía. Entonces ojo con eso porque la sensación es que simplemente por no arriesgarse no quisieron hacer el favor de averiguar bien el tema y facturarle a cada huésped. Además por eso nos hicieron perder mucho tiempo ya que no dejaban acomodar a nadie en las habitaciones antes de pagar.

La arquitectura del hotel es hermosa y el desayuno muy rico.
El tamaño del cuarto y del baño. Era enano. Me pareció que pagué demasiado para una habitación tan pequeña. No había mucho lugar donde acomodar la ropa y en el baño no había un lugar idóneo para poner el jabón y el shampoo los terminamos poniendo en el piso. Cuando llegamos vimos que en la ducha quedaba el jabón y el shampoo que había usado el huésped anterior nos dio un indicativo de que no limpian con detenimiento. No lo considero un hotel luxury.

Muy bonita casa colonial, buen desayuno y amabilidad de los trabajadores.
La habitación era grande pero el aire acondicionado daba justo a la cama, lo que puede ser incómodo.

El desayuno rico, la ubicación buena, la decoración del hotel exterior muy bonita, el acceso a juan Valdez genial.
El personal de la recepción, los hombres con muy poca actitud y disposición. La terraza la pueden mejorar colocarle cojines a las sillas de madera que con el sol es imposible que alguien se siente directamente en la madera, deberían techarlo es una vista muy bonita para aprovechar más el espacio de la terraza, vender bebidas por ejemplo… por último en la foto muestran el kit de aseo de una marca luxury, pero realmente no es es el típico que encuentra en un hotel normal… deberían actualizar fotos..

The accommodation is located in a renovated antique building with a beautiful internal patio.
The room was clean. Breakfast was included and it was average for Colombia: juice, coffe, eggs and toast. There was a safe in the room.
The room was smaller than it looks in the picture. The hotel is advertised as luxury but it is just a normal hotel. It is located next to a road cross so it is a bit busy outside but in the room was quiet because the window gave to the internal patio.

The location was great as it was easy to walk everywhere from there. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Loved the location, quality of the rooms, access to the city and friendliness of the staff. The room was cool and welcoming, the hotel was authentic and we were minutes away from bars, restaurants and the city vibe.
There was a bit more traffic noise than expected but it never disrupted my sleep. Breakfast was very basic and not Colombian.
