No conforme al 100%

la atencion del persnal es muy buena, sin embargo para el valor o costo del hotel la habitacion que donde nos ubicaron era muy pero muy pequena y sin ningun tipo de ventilacion.

En la primera habitacion, el fuerte olor a aromatizantes, en una habitacion sin ventilacion y asi de pequena era insoportable. Al mencionar esta situacion, me ofrecen una especie de Upgrade de habitacion (claro pagando), en donde lo tome, ya que no habian mas habitaciones disponibles con la tarifa que yo ya habia pagado. Pues esta segunda habitacion, la ducha del bano se tapaba de tal forma que practicamente mojas todo el bano.

Very nice and pleasant stay, was close to the convention center and good restaurants nearby.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, every single one of them. They sincerely want you to enjoy your stay. Special thanks to Alfonso, Mayrose, Karen, Sandra and Jonathan. Terrace level with pool is lovely.

The walls and floors are hollow concrete, so you hear every other rooms alarm clocks, phone calls, conversations, etc, as well as luggage being rolled along the long hallways at 0400. Also the gap under the door is big enough for a pizza box to slide through, so the flies and mosquitos from outside come into your room. The interior of the hotel is not air-conditioned, so your room and the restaurant are the only cool rooms in the hotel. I'm sure that's less of a problem in the non summer months.

Great choice to stay in Cartagena

Friendly staff, beautifully designed hotel in a centric location walking distance to all the tourist spots. L'Occitane products in the bathroom is a plus!

Would be nice if they also provided body lotion. Cartagena is a very sunny place and you can easily get sunburned.

Faboulus, calming and relaxing!

First of all, we loved the location and structure. It is so calm an beautiful. At the same time very very clean. The people who work here were amazing! So nice and they treated us like family, so we came back 3 times on our vacation in Colombia. We can really highly recommend it :)

Chic and Beautiful

The customer service is exceptional. The breakfast it was great. Decoration in the hotel it's so pretty and delicate. The location was good because is close to the city attractions but the street its very congested.

The rooms are a bit small and don't have any view. But it is understandable for the space.

Lovely hotel perfect for exploring, super helpful staff!

Casa Canabal was a lovely hotel for our last night in Cartagena. Staff was super helpful and allowed us to store our luggage 2 days early while we spent some time at Islas de Rosario. Extremely comfortable room, bed, & shower. Perfect location for exploring Getsemani, but also super close to Centro Historico. Thank you!

Experience marked by bad hotel management and lizards in our room.

The hotel is a very nice colonial house that has been renovated and converted into a hotel. the building itself is a very nice place to be and is very peaceful, given its in the city centre.

Sadly, on our first night we arrived back to the hotel to find several lizards in our room. We were helped by the night manager to move to a different room (which was smaller and without windows, so was a lower rate). Prior to our stay we had specifically asked to be in a room with natural light, so had we known where we would end up we wouldn’t have stayed there. The next morning we were told our original room needed to be deep cleaned so we wouldn’t be able to return. We were not offered anything by way of compensation for this - indeed we had to wait the entire next morning to speak to the manager about this. As we were now in a cheaper room we needed to receive a refund for the difference between the two rooms - however we were not initially offered this, and were offered a free massage instead, which was of a much lower value. In the end, it took 16 days to receive the refund for the difference between the two rooms. It sounded like they had already had problems with lizards in the suite duplex and delux romance rooms, which is where we stayed. I would therefore recommend to not take these two rooms.

not happy at all

location and accommodations were good. Room was clean

we did not have warm water and had to wait 1 hour for it to warm. besides we did not have electricity the second days and staff did nothing to help us

Staff were nice enough.

Room was very noisy with a party going on directly across the street on balcony. 3 termites fell on me inside the bed. Much of the food in brunch was gone by 8:30. Within 2 blocks of the hotel were 3 youth hostels

Nice place, but power issues were a problem.

Great AC; elegant place.

The power went out several times. since the clock was on the wrong time when we arrived I am guessing it happened before we arrived as well. other nearby businesses at least had generators.

Absolutely incredible.

Everyone was just absolutely wonderful. Really quiet despite being in the center of Cartagena in the Getsmani area 1.5 blocks away from cafe Havana.

Nice pool. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast.

The ground floor room felt a bit like staying in a cave. Very dark and no windows. My sister stayed upstairs and her room was great. The hotel should have a generator or at least supply lamps for the rooms that work without electricity. There were lots of power cuts and the room was very uncomfortable during those times. The front desk guy (can't remember his name) was quite rude.
