The hotel is very cozy and rooms are clean. Good location - not far from bus/train station and most hiking routes. Breakfast was good. The owner is very nice and helpful.

The hotel was perfect for our needs. Very close to the city center and well connected to train/bus station and the transports to the mountains.
The host/owner is great and even prepared us sandwiches for a day trip in the mountains.
The room was a bit small and very basic. The structure has bigger rooms and also studio-like options on the top floor. That said, we found our double room not as comfy as we'd hoped.

Zakopane is beautiful and the owner of this hotel was amazing. He was so helpful and even made an early breakfast for us one day when we had to depart before regular breakfast hours. Breakfast every day was awesome and local cuisine. Our room was clean and larger than most with a nice view of the Tatras. We had a sink and a little fridge for our drinks a table and a little sofa. It was very much chalet style with tons of natural light. Quiet and away from the crowds.
This was a small chalet, so there was no elevator. We had to carry our bags up to the 4th floor, just take this into consideration when booking your room. Also, there are no curtains and it gets light around 4:45, bring a sleeping mask. Lastly, our top room had a couple of low ceiling sections, like over the bed and sofa. Watch your head if you are tall.
